We spend a lot of time on design at Airbnb. We want to make it easy to list and book rooms all around the world. All the hours, sketches, mock-ups, prototypes, sweat, iterations, debates, and tests that go into making the site beautiful have combined to a nomination for "Best Design of 2010". The Crunchies, as they're called, are like the Emmy's for the internet. It's an honor to be a finalist for such a distinction.
